Cold August too !

It was 50 degrees this morning and chilly now. I need a warm sweaty night.

With the rain and cool weather - this has been a rough summer. It is still super pretty up here - but foggy mornings and wet wet weekends loose their charm after a while.

So I guess a wrought iron fire pit with a Mexican type tile surround makes perfect sense, even in mid-summer. This is the perfect size for a terrace or city yard. Cozy up and warm your toes on fall evenings. Or in August of you live upstate.

Wood Pallets. I have been finding lots of nice industrial pieces. Most are too heavy for me to manage and I have watched real beauties end up sold for scrap. I got a few nice ones lately - wood  and steel mostly. Some witrh wheels others just the wood. Most are on the small scale making them usable for the average apartment or house. The one pictured is 3 thick wood slabs bolted with heavy iron. No wheels. Just waiting for some legs to make a great table. Approx. 26" X 50" X 4".
