Royal Spartanette Travel Trailer - For Sale

Circa 1952 - Aircraft quality Aluminum and Birch. Built by Hughes Aircraft to highest standards.
Exterior is in excellent condition. Needs polishing. No dents or creases. All original windows, doors.
Ready for restoration. Needs some TLC. Interior is in great shape overall. Original birch cabinets.
Kitchen has large banquette seating, original DIXIE stove and sink. Three piece bathroom.

Though most folks think Airstream sets the standard of luxe in travel trailers. I've always preferred the more pedestrian rigs. I bought this Spartan many years ago and never fulfilled my plans to restore it fully. It was usable "as is" and I started my business in here - hence Tin Can Trading Post.

Now I am ready to find a new owner and home for this incredible trailer.
It currently sits in a lovely field by my house in Cochecton NY.
Located just over 100 miles from NYC - and easily transported by a towing service.

For Sale - $5000.

Two frames apart

I shot these for the Brooklyn Flea Vendor listings on their web site. It was composed in a few seconds with items at hand. The light was great, but lasted only a moment or two.

The Airstream is a cast model I got at Pottery Barn about a decade or more ago?
The "wrestlers" are by Lafayette L. Rittgers.
The crystal vessels are Danish.
The crystal carafe is my mother's.
